Before the Tailhook scandal and the advent of "political correctness" there were US Navy fighter pilots that defied decorum, that pushed and redefined the flying envelope with their aggressive use of their machines, and that lived on the edge of peril with a no-holds barred, warrior mind-set. This is a book filled with the tales of such a man, his larger-than-life exploits, and the accomplishments that set him apart from the rest of the pack.
