Seven. The Wonders of the World have long been based around this number. Shrouded in mystery and hidden from the world, anything more has been deemed a mere myth.

When M.C. agreed to accompany her friends in search of an Eighth such Wonder, she never believed it might actually exist. After having just graduated from one of New York CityÕs most prestigious prep schools, she had been looking for a fun adventure with her best friends before moving on to college and apart from each other. However, despite her expectations, she finds herself on a journey across the continents, full of adventure, mystery, and magic. From the moment their plane mysteriously lands in the wrong country entirely, they knew this was no ordinary trip. Instead, they find themselves on a journey of discovery - not only about the mythical EighthWonder and all it entails, but about themselves and each other as well. Nonetheless, there are forces that seem to be working against them, creating obstacles every step of the way.

Great receiver, Digital Room Correction is worth it
Style: AVR-X3800H
Being a refurb, the unit seems brand new. No issues at all, working great so far after months of use. Audyssey XT32 works really well in my main seating position. Any other listening position on the couch is not great, but not the receivers issue. Just noting that there’s only so much you can fix with digital room correction, my room is the opposite of ideal. Love the multiple sub control. Dynamic EQ is fantastic also. Audyssey transformed my music. My 5.2 speaker setup is Frankenstein’d together with different brands and it was interesting to see the drastically different frequency responses of each speaker. With it all tuned, it sounds great. I find myself just sitting down and jamming to music for hours.

Solid!
Style: AVR-X3800H
It's a rock-solid receiver with modern and future-proof features. Denon isn't the flashiest or most aesthetically pleasing design; however, the unit is reliable and sounds great. I used Dirac Live to fine tune the system, and it's been a worthwhile upgrade from my X-2700.

It was Dead On Arrival. It powered on for a few seconds, then powered off. I sent it back.

Great replacement to my older 5.1 Yamaha receiver.
Style: 7.2 Receiver
Great replacement for an older Yamaha. My previous unit lasted 10 years and I see no reason why this new one wont last another 10. Familiar features and setup to other Yamaha receivers. Zero issues with setup and contrary to others, you can use all the features without the app. While the app does add some features for streaming, the unit is fully usable as a receiver for movies, surround, etc. without the app. Overall the sound improvement is spectacular, the high slew rate really makes a difference and DSP much improved over the older 10 year old unit I had. Solid hardware, solid setup and while I'm not about Brand Loyalty, the Yamaha still had better features, reviews and quality than the other major brands. I would have no issue recommending this to unit to anyone. Remember, these units are about the sound they offer, not the the wiz bang features you see in some other units. Reliable hardware, reliable sound and a rich feature set makes this unit a no brainer.
