This striking vintage ring dates to the 1960s and is set in 14ct gold with a vibrant cluster of faceted green agate gemstones. The stones are arranged in a bold, domed formation, creating a richly textured surface that plays beautifully with light and colour.

Green agate, a beautifully coloured variety of chalcedony, is prized for its smooth translucency and rich, saturated tone. Unlike highly brilliant gemstones, agate has a softer, almost glowing quality, which gives this ring depth and warmth. Here, the faceted stones catch the light gently, creating movement across the domed cluster while allowing the vivid green to remain the true focus.

The elevated basket setting is a fine example of period craftsmanship, allowing light to pass through the green agate while giving the ring real presence on the hand. It is a confident, sculptural jewel that sits comfortably within the bold aesthetic of post-war jewellery design.

A wonderful statement ring, colourful, characterful, and unmistakably of its era, ideal for collectors who appreciate distinctive vintage gemstones and strong mid-century design.

I love the show, hate this book
Format: Paperback
The Simpsons is one of the funniest TV shows ever. It doesn't translate well to paper at all in this book. This is not funny. It reads like some wannabe comedy writer trying to imitate the Simpsons. The book's credits list Matt Groening as the the "publisher". It lists 7 writers, none of whom is Groening. It also lists a creative director, art director, and multiple "contributing artists", none of whom are Groening. In fact, comparing the list of writers for this book to the list of the show's writers on Wikipedia, none of the show's writers contributed to this book. Maybe that's why it doesn't feel like the show at all. Same characters, lame dialogue, not funny. Too bad.
