Background
Neutrophil elastase is a serine protease stored in azurophilic granules of neutrophils, released during inflammation to degrade extracellular matrix components including elastin, collagen, and fibronectin. While essential for immune defense against pathogens, dysregulated activity contributes to tissue destruction in chronic inflammatory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Kid friendly
This sunscreen is amazing! It goes on smoothly, isn’t sticky, and absorbs quickly. My kids don’t mind applying it at all, which makes outdoor time much easier.
