In this remarkable author-illustrator debut that's perfect for fans of Last Stop on Market Street and Extra Yarn, a generous woman is rewarded by her community.

Everyone in the neighbourhood dreams of a taste of Omu's delicious stew! One by one, they follow their noses toward the scrumptious scent. And one by one, Omu offers a portion of her meal. Soon the pot is empty. Has she been so generous that she has nothing left for herself?

Debut author-illustrator Oge Mora brings to life a heartwarming story of sharing and community in colourful cut-paper designs as luscious as Omu's stew, with an extra serving of love. An author's note explains that "Omu" (pronounced AH-moo) means "queen" in the Igbo language of her parents, but growing up, she used it to mean "Grandma." This book was inspired by the strong female role models in Oge Mora's life.

My dog was obsessed with these
Color: carrot orange
Bought these for my dog and they were an instant hit. The carrot shape is cute, but more importantly they kept my dog entertained for quite a while. The squeaker still works and the toy has held up better than I expected considering how rough my dog can be with toys. I always expect squeaky toys to be destroyed within a day or two, but these have lasted surprisingly well. They're lightweight, easy for my dog to carry around, and have become one of the toys that gets picked out of the basket the most. If your dog enjoys squeaky toys, these are definitely worth a try.

Good one.
Color: carrot orange
Our Lab loved it. Nice and sturdy apart from the leaves, which were short lived. Overall a good toy for a big boy.

Fun for retrieving and chewing.
Color: carrot orange
My lab loves this carrot, and uses it to retrieve and is not easily destroyed. However, he was able to pull off the leaves the first day. It’s still functional, just know they’re gonna come off if you have a chewer. Purchased based of recommendations for indestructible toys.

The fabric is a soft Jean material which is nice. It only shrinks a very small amount. It is NOT meant for tall people. I ordered a medium and I’m 5’10 135 lbs and they are high waters unfortunately

Great
Color: carrot orange
The greenery came off very quickly after a few chews but the orange rubber material, my pup really enjoys. It feels good on her teeth and she will just chew on it for hours.

Color: carrot orange
This toy lasted us so long! It is durable, the dogs love the squeaker, and they love to try to chew the green leaves.
