For more than 150 years the Lageder family have been committed to the distinctive terroirs of the Alto Adige - prerequisites for highly individual wines. Founded in 1823 and today directed by 5th and 6th generations Alois and Alois Clemens Lageder, the estate combines tradition and innovation based on a sustainable and holistic philosophy. Work in the vineyards is guided by the cycles and forces of nature, from planting to harvest.
The family owned vineyards (50 hectares) located at Magrè, Cortaccia, Termeno and Caldaro are cultivated with biodynamic methods, certified by Demeter. The Lindenburg vineyard at Bolzano and the Krafuss vineyard at S. Michele/Appiano are in conversion. Certified Organic Winery, Demeter
